GAME RELATED

Question

Answer

Why don't you release game X / Y?

Did you read the "Main" page section? No? I suggest you do this right away.

BURNING RELATED

Question

Answer

I can't burn any of the ISO's on your site, I think it has something to do with my burner.

You probably have an old burner wich doesn't support the 2048 sector size format. I suggest you download DAO from Goldenhawk. Go to the Goldenhawk page and download the DOS version (32 bit version if you have Win9x) of there programm. It has a programm in it called ISOTORAW with wich you can convert the sector size from 2048 to 2352, ISO to RAW. Don't forget to change the CUE file with Notepad when you converted the file. (Mode1/2048 must be Mode1/2352)

Can I burn these ISO's on my Amiga?

Sure you can, as far as I know all burning software available on the Amiga (Master Iso, Make CD etc.) support the .ISO format.

Can I burn these ISO's with any other burning software on my PC besides CDRWin and Fireburner?

Easy CD Creator and NTI CD Maker do also support the .ISO format. Do not ask me how you can burn them using these programms, I haven't tried it myself. If you use Easy CD Creator don't forget to convert the MP3's in WAV's, if the game has any MP3's that is. If you use NTI CD Maker there is no need to convert the MP3's.

Is it possible to burn any of these games on a Linux based system?

Yes, it is. A burning programm called 'Toaster' should do the job.

ROMECENTER RELATED

Question

Answer

Romcenter doesn't recognize my own created ISO's.

That's because you made an ISO with a sector size of 2352. All ISO's in Romcenter have a sector size of 2048. You need to convert your roms. Use DAO by Goldenhawk to do this or dump your CD's with Fireburner. Go to the Goldenhawk page and download the DOS version (32 bit version if you have Win9x) of there programm. It has a programm in it called ISOTORAW with wich you can convert the sector size. Be sure to ZIP your created ISO's, else Romcenter won't recognize them either.
